I wish I had a photo I could link to -- there is this high school portrait of my mom in the 1960s. She's got perfectly coiffed beehive do, creamy, flawless skin and perfectly lined eyes. I was always just fascinated with that picture as a kid.
Here's the story of the actual beehive creator. I never knew the beehive was a local creation!
